Valentines Day is on its way and with it a load of lovers come out of the woodwork and start sending each other cards and arranging parties and romantic meals for two. Every restaurant in town gets fully booked and the prices all go sky high. After my last post Around the Christmas Tree, with that seasonal period well and truly done with now, I'm going to look here at what this special day is all about.
The primary goal of Valentines Day is to help people who want to get together to do just that. Well, ok maybe that's not entirely true, but that's the way it looks! If people can't make it, you can still give them some of the party titbits. Well that doesn't necessarily mean you're cheap. Valentines Day can be threatening to some. Preparing a dinner party a day before the event is a whole different ball game.
The cat will mew and dog will have his day. That leads to other Valentines gift stupidity. Log on to your page during your party. As Valentines Day gifts, tea ball sets packed in cute little pouches can be a great party give-away. People are now going for healthier choices. It's not the time to try out something new when you don't have time to prepare. Your friends are sure to call to arrange a great party. Do what allows you more time to do other things.
